Design2Resource is a lean Design/Build outfit built on efficiency. We've cut out the middlemen — the estimators, the foremen, the layers of management — to give you a direct line to the expertise you need for your kitchen, bath, built-in, or outdoor project.
Trust the vision, trust the process — and you won't be disappointed.
We specialize in "unsolvable" spaces. From challenging bathroom footprints to custom nooks, we find the hidden potential in your home's awkward corners.
We evaluate structural changes like vaulted ceilings and load-bearing walls early, giving you a clear roadmap and accurate budget without typical wait times.
A hybrid approach using high-quality modular units finished with custom wood tops, reclaimed accents, and integrated power for a truly built-in look.
We don't just remodel — we build value. Our projects are designed to maximize your return on investment and increase your home's equity.

The Signature ElementsA space that builds immediate equity — intentionally trend-proof, ensuring your home remains salable and stylish for decades.
Structural
The client envisioned a massive 35x30 open-concept space. The initial engineering assessment suggested transitioning to heavy steel and using a crane to drop beams through the roof — significantly inflating the timeline and budget.
The D2R SolutionThrough rigorous analysis of load tables and safety factors, we proposed a high-performance wood beam solution without the cost of steel. We avoided the crane rental by engineering a specialized rigging system, using winches to slide the beams through the gable end. The result: a record-breaking clear span and a seamless, open interior.
Built-In
Our client came to us with a very specific, high-end vision for their living room entertainment center but needed a partner who could handle the technical execution. By providing detailed 3D sketches, we ensured the client could visualize every detail before the first cut was made.
The ResultOutdoor · Structural
A failing retaining wall and a heaving sidewalk were being overwhelmed by the weight and slope of the neighboring property's soil. The homeowners needed a permanent structural fix that also addressed site-wide drainage issues and aesthetic pathway needs.
The D2R SolutionWe implemented an eco-conscious structural solution by repurposing the demolished masonry from the old wall. By encasing the material in high-durability containment units, we created a massive, stable sub-structure using recycled on-site materials. We then integrated a comprehensive French drain system beneath a new gravel and paver pathway, ensuring the home stayed dry while creating a beautiful, functional exterior transition.
Outdoor
A leaking front porch roof suffered from an inadequate pitch, but the existing roofline left almost no room for a steeper slope without compromising head clearance. The client needed a weather-tight solution that wouldn't feel cramped or "heavy" at the entrance.
The D2R SolutionWe engineered a custom low-profile timber frame using 4x6 members to create the shallowest possible structural footprint. By utilizing a high-grade metal roofing system specifically designed for low slopes, we ensured a lifetime of leak-free performance. To maintain a classic aesthetic, we finished the underside with a crisp white treatment that mimics the look of traditional beadboard, keeping the entryway feeling bright and airy.
Built-In
A great closet shouldn't look like an afterthought; it should look like it's always been there. Our unique installation process avoids the "gaps and scraps" look of standard modular systems without the astronomical costs of traditional bespoke carpentry.
Our Hybrid MethodIt's the high-end, "always been there" look you want, delivered through a much smarter investment.
